Gyanadhara Radio is true example of Digital India. The Internet is a global network that connects computers all over the world. This has made the realization of daily tasks extremely easy which was a long, difficult and time consuming one. We cannot imagine our life without it, now computerized every data in metros, railways, commercial industries, shops, schools, colleges, educational institutions, NGOs, universities, offices (government and non-government), on a large scale. And paperwork is being avoided, doing so is also increasing transparency in works. IGNOU is taking full advantage of this feature of the Internet, especially in lock-down, to make education accessible to its students. IGNOU's Gyanvani Radio FM 105.6 MHz and educational TV Gyan Darshan are also being broadcast online. By downloading PUFFING BROWSER in Playstore, Gyanadhara can be heard on line Gyanvani Radio, there is also an option to watch Gyan Darshan. Gyanvani is broadcast daily from 8 am to 8 pm, while Gyan Darshan can be viewed 24 hours a day. During the lock-down, the number of live programs on Gyanvani has been increased, which is also being watched on Gyan Darshan i.e. the new experiment of Cimulcasting is continuing successfully. Everyday new stories are being heard on Gyanvani from 5:30 pm to 6 pm under Suno Kahani, you can also watch it on Gyan Darshan. It is important that as a narrator in the Suno Kahani program is the pro vice chancellor of IGNOU, Prof Satyakam, whose interesting narrative style is being liked by the audience and viewers . Many other programs are being broadcast as per the course. On May 13, there will be a program on Rekhankan and Abhivykti in which Dr. Laxman Prasad, Assitance Professor SOPVA, IGNOU, Performing and Visual Arts will be the experts, while on 14 May the program will be on Strategies to revive Indian Economy, post covid-19, in this program IGNOU’s Pro Vice Chancellor KK B Das will be expert and Prof. Pardeep Sahni will be the Expert at the Towards Braving Covid-19 program on 15 May from 4 pm to 5 pm. Gyanvani's station manager Manoj Kumar Singh told that 'Gyanvani is constantly working to keep the teaching and training of students in lock-down due to Kovid-19, can also watch Gyanvani's live programs on Gyan Darshan, through Gyanadhara, You can listen to Gyanvani through online and watch Gyan Darshan’ , so in such a way it can undoubtedly be said that Through internet IGNOU is reaching to unreached successfully and home base learners are taking benefits during lockckdown.
